Leaving to Pousada by car . It is a 40-minute walk to Jeribucaçu and Arruda beach. On the beach is the Jeribucaçu River, beautiful, shallow and with its crystalline waters, great for a refreshing swim. After enjoying the beaches and the river, we return by another trail, towards the waterfall, bordering the Jeribucaçu River. We passed through a small mangrove, putting our feet in the mud and followed the ruins of the old plant, in the middle of the dense forest. We cross the river and we can see the great local biodiversity, with centenary trees, bromeliads and wild orchids. We arrived at Cachoeira da Usina (an old power plant for Itacaré, the golden age of cocoa, founded in 1942). Beautiful waterfall with 14 meters high, forming a beautiful natural pool. We return to Itacaré with arrival scheduled for 4:30 pm. Trail snack included.
