The tour starts with a 60km car ride on the Estrada do Café (Coffee Road) towards the Fazenda Os Impossíveis (The Impossible Farm), a farm that has developed numerous sustainable initiatives such as an electricity-generating water-mill, organic agriculture, an orchard of tropical fruits and a mineral water spring. There, you can try a typical snack composed of fruits, homemade desserts, natural fruit juices, coffee, biscuits, and ‘beijus’. Next, a steep 3km trail leads you to a canyon and the 60m high Mosquito Waterfall. After enjoying the waterfall, you will return to the farm for a delicious lunch prepared with typical Chapada delicacies such as sundried meat or ‘caipira’ (free-range) chicken, black beans, rice, manioc flour, fried eggs, palm slices, banana, salad and locally produced organic vegetables.
