This tour is designed for those who prefer tranquil strolls, relaxed, contact with local communities and canoe rides with no great physical effort. The trip starts by visiting the village of Remanso, a quilombola community formed by descendents of black slaves. The tour continues by boat in the waterways of a mini-pantanal , known as Marimbus. This trip lasts between one and two hours and provides visitors the opportunity to view the local fauna and flora, consisting of birds, monkeys and local flowers. The tour ends at the Roncador River where you will take a refreshing swim in the river’s natural swimming pools. There is a farmhouse near the river where you have the option of eating a lunch of typical regional food.
