The trail that links Lençóis to Capão is one of the most famous and well-known routes in the Chapada. The trail is 25 km long and takes up to 7 hours. The tour passes by the Ribeirão River where you can swim and then stops at Piabas Pool where you will have lunch. The walk continues along a historic trail created by diamond miners in order to access the Capão Valley and what is now the town of Palmeiras. Along the way, you will also view the Morrão, also known as Monte Tambor (Drum Mountain). Upon arriving in the Capão Valley, you can choose between staying the night in a pousada and returning by car to Lençóis (one and a half hours).
