This itinerary is designed for visitors who enjoy hiking, camping and lots of vertical adrenalin. Leaving the historic center of Lençóis, we will travel 9 km by off-road vehicle to Capivara River, where the trail begins. Climbing the Serra do Bode lasting an hour and a half, passing through various areas of old mines, we can gaze upon ancient dwellings of miners and diamond mining areas. At the end of the climb, we hike into Capivari Canyon, where we will find the waterfall of the same name and a beautiful pool, perfect for swimming. After the rappel activity, we return to the top of Capivari Waterfall, where we walk around 40 min. along the river, reaching Poção, another beautiful swimming hole, where we will spend the night. We have the option of sleeping in tents or prospector’s dugouts, and dine Vertical style. At dawn, after breakfast, we raise the camp to continue our trek to the canyon of Mixila (also known by the ancient miners as Canyon and Andorinhas Waterfall), where we find high walls and narrow canyons with a wide variety of orchid species. At the end of the canyon we’ll discover the beautiful Mixila Waterfall. After an hour and a half walk through this marvelous and impressive area of breathtaking beauty, we return to our starting point, with a 3-hour walk, where the off-road vehicle awaits us, to return to the historical center of Lençóis. * The rappel is an optional activity, and may be removed from the itinerary. ** This trek can also be accomplished in 3 days, contact us.
